Department of Human Services (DHS) – DHS offers a number of programs to provide insurance for adults and children, including Medicaid and Medicare. Medicaid will pay for many healthcare services, including hospital, home health, physician care, prescriptions, eye and dental care.
In addition to health benefits the DHS also provides TANF assistance for families with minor children when unemployment or under-employment deprives a minor of financial support.
